Royals Clipped by Rockets in Game 4

Kelowna, BC- The Victoria Royals dropped a 4-3 decision to the Kelowna Rockets on Thursday night at Prospera Place, and the best-of-seven series is now tied 2-2.

The Rockets’ Cole Linaker tallied the game-winner on the powerplay with 11 seconds remaining in the third period. The Royals’ Logan Fisher registered a pair of goals, while Ethan Price scored Victoria’s other marker. Kelowna’s remaining tallies were recorded by Joe Gatenby, Tomas Soustal, and Justin Kirkland.

Victoria netminder Coleman Vollrath turned aside 27 of the 31 shots fired his way. Kelowna goaltender Michael Herringer stopped 32 of the 35 shots he faced.

The Royals went 0/5= 0.0% with the man-advantage, while the Rockets held a 2/5= 40.0% mark.
