July 9th from 11am - 3pm at Beaver Lake Park in Saanich. Enjoy a wide variety of free family activities, including live entertainment, information displays, face-painting, program demonstrations, arts and craft stations and bouncy castles.
July 14th to August 20th at Parksville Community Park in Parksville. Master Sand Sculptors travel from all over the world to participate in the Quality Foods Sand Sculpting Competition and Exhibition. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture these amazing sand sculptures on display! Parksville Beach Fest also hosts free evening concerts on Friday and Saturday evenings from July 21st to August 19th and Art in the Park on July 29-30th.
July 15th from 10am - 4pm at Damali's Lavendar and Winery in Cobble Hill. Featuring wine tastings on the crush pad, lavender ice cream, live music, lavender baked goods, artisan vendors, face painting, food truck(s), and a scavenger hunt. There will also be an essential oil distillation demonstration and free lavender crafts for both adults and children.
July 21st to July 23rd at various venues in Nanaimo. Help celebrate the 51st race and whirlwind weekend at the Nanaimo Marine Festival and World Championship Bathtub Races. Don’t miss the launch party, street fair, kids zone, vendors and live entertainment!
August 4th to 7th at Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park in the Comox Valley. This is the art event of the summer featuring more than 130 artisans, great food and lively entertainment for all ages. The festival is the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Associations largest fundraiser to help restore and maintain the Heritage Park.
